libproxychains3 software package provides proxy chains -- shared library (runtime), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libproxychains3
libproxychains3 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libproxychains3 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libproxychains3 *
You will get with libproxychains3 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
